03 · Why Bali

Learn it where
the work happens.

You can study digital business anywhere. Here, the founders, the nomads and the startups are all around you.

More than a study destination

Bali is not a slide in a deck about the digital economy. It is a working version of it. Canggu and Ubud have filled with founders, freelancers and remote teams building real businesses from cafes and co-working spaces, and the island runs on that energy every day.

So the lectures have somewhere to point. You study e-commerce, then meet people running stores from here. You study entrepreneurship, then sit with founders who started in Bali. The academic part is real and the credits transfer home. What stays with you is having started your first venture among the founders who chose Bali too, then taking it wherever you go next.

04 · The campus

PIB College.
Tabanan, Bali.

Your host is PIB College, Bali's leading vocational campus for tourism, digital and creative industries.

Set in the scenic Tabanan region and widely called the most beautiful campus on the island, PIB College pairs academic excellence with Bali's natural surroundings. State-of-the-art facilities, including digital and media labs, real industry connections, and the green and the ocean never far away.

  • On-campus accommodation available, so you can live where you learn.
  • Digital and media labs, including a green-screen studio for content work.
  • Tabanan setting among rice fields and gardens, with the coast within reach.

05 · The capstone

Leave with a
venture you
built.

The semester ends with something to show: your own digital business, pitched.

The final module is a startup project. You take an idea from concept to execution and pitch it, with guidance from instructors and local founders who have done it.

You apply the marketing, e-commerce and AI you learned to a real venture of your own. You leave with more than a transcript: a business you have actually built, and a network of founders on the ground in Bali.

06 · Frequently asked

Quick
answers.

Do I need a business background?
No. Most participants come from business, marketing or digital fields, but the program is open to graduates, professionals and anyone with a genuine interest in digital business, even without a formal background in the field.
Will my home university accept the credits?
You earn 30 credit points that reflect the workload of a full semester and transfer to most international credit systems, roughly 15 US semester credits. Always confirm the transfer with your home registrar before applying. The Info Pack includes the documentation they will ask for.
Which visa do I need?
You study on a student visa (C9), which the university applies for on your behalf. We guide you through every step, and the full process is laid out in the Info Pack.
Is accommodation included?
Accommodation is not included in the course fee. On-campus options are available at PIB College, and we can help you find nearby housing if you prefer to live off campus. Living costs in Bali are generally affordable, around 500 to 800 USD per month depending on your lifestyle.
Can I work while studying?
No. The C9 student visa is for study, not paid employment in Indonesia. You will build your own venture as part of the startup project, but you cannot take on local paid work during the semester.
What is in the Info Pack?
The six modules at a glance, the weekly schedule with excursions and workshops, tuition and what is included, accommodation options, the visa process, the startup project, and contact for a 1:1 call.
